Dementia Awareness Course

The Dementia Awareness Course is aimed at all staff working in the care environment who work with people with dementia at various stages.

A general understanding of the issues associated with dementia will be established. Candidates will gain under-pinning knowledge of Dementia and the various stages and will be able to put this into practice where necessary.

Physical Intervention Techniques

The Physical Intervention Techniques training course is aimed at people working in the care industry who may be subject to working alone or with customers who may become aggressive or violent.

The Physical Intervention Techniques covers various techniques and also break away's and clothing grabs.

The course is non pain complaint and concentrates on helping you break free from a situation.

Infection Control Awareness

The Infection control training course is aimed at staff working within the care environment. Individuals will understand the importance of why we need to have infection control measures implemented in the workplace and the positive benefits for adhering to infection control measures.

At the end of this course candidates will be able to state the obligations and responsibilities that should be performed when dealing with infection control issues.

In addition to this candidates will be able to demonstrate and explain hand washing techniques along with having an understanding of maintaining a clean environment.

First Aid Work 3 Day QCF

The First Aid at Work 3 day course is ideal for advanced level hazards (e.g. construction, care industry, manufacturing or events, or chemical plants) or where your needs assessment identifies a requirement to provide additional advance training,

The First Aid at Work course covers a broad syllabus including the recognition and treatment of a wider range of conditions and ways to help preserve life.

The First Aid at Work training course provides a comprehensive set of practical skills needed by first aiders in most workplaces to become a confident first aider at work.

Giving both the ability and knowledge to deal with a variety of first aid emergencies. It meets the standards required to help comply with Health and Safety (First aid) regulations.

Emergency First Aid at Work  1 Day QCF

The Emergency First Aid at Work course is ideal for low hazard environments (e.g. offices, reception areas, shops,) or where your needs assessment identifies a requirement for a first-aider trained in emergency first aid at work.

If your needs assessment identifies additional hazards or risks or staff with any medical conditions such as heart condition, asthma, diabetes or any other medical conditions we recommend the three day first aid at work course as this covers a broader syllabus including the recognition and treatment of a wider range of conditions and actions you can take to help preserve life

SOVA Awareness Course (Safeguarding Vulnerable People)

This course is designed for care staff and will raise awareness of the importance of Safeguarding Vulnerable People, and who could be vulnerable.

People completing this course will have a better understanding of vulnerable and they will be able implement their company adult protection policy and the procedures they should follow









Health & Safety Awareness


Are your employees aware of their responsibilities under The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999. Furthermore, under Health and Safety Legislation, employers are required to provide appropriate health and Safety training for themselves and/or their employees.
